This is a lovely job working for housekeeper to work for a friendly professional family who live in a beautiful home close to Victoria Station.
The Principals are both working during the day and they have two children, 1 and 3 years old, who have their own full time nanny. There would not be any daily childcare with this job but you may be asked to occasionally look after one or both of the children if the nanny is not able to.
They are looking for an experienced housekeeper to help run their home. You would need to keep the house clean and well presented and able to do a 'deep clean' when needed, change the bed and household linen, laundry and ironing, answer the door or telephone calls, do some household shopping, some wardrobe management for the Principals, and just generally make sure that the household runs smoothly. You will also be cooking a family style evening meal if the Principals are eating at home, and sometimes for the children.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in an executive style home for at least 3 years with suitable references. You will need to speak good English and be able to organise your own day and work without supervision.
This is a live in role working Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, with breaks during the day. You will have weekends off. Your accommodation is in a separate part of the house with your own front door - and you have your own bedsitting room with ensuite bathroom and your own kitchen. Salary will be in the region of £450-500 net per week depending on experience.
