A caring and lovely, pet-free family in charming NW7 (Mill Hill) are searching for an experienced live-in housekeeper / nanny for a busy couple with 2 children (aged 8 and 5).
The candidate will be required to work 5.5 days a week - Monday -Friday, 7AM to 7PM each day, and Saturday half day. In addition babysitting is required  a minimum of 1 - 2 nights per week, often on a Saturday evening.
The duties of the successful candidate will include:
Childcare

Getting children ready for school in the morning - washed, brushed, breakfast.
Preparing school snacks, ensuring school bags are packed ready for school with appropriate gear for the day (PE kit, after school club kit)
Drop off/ Pick up of children to/from school.
Arrangement of play dates, coordinating schedules for pick up from these and after school clubs.
Supervision of homework
Playing/ entertaining children in the afternoon - taking to park, playing in garden, weather permitting.
Preparing dinner - freshly cooked each day from family recipes - French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Chinese, Thai, Japanese cuisine preferred.
Helping with evening bedtime routines - bathing, brushing teeth, stories, reading.

Housekeeping

Preparing meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner and clearing this up.
Cleaning - hoovering, mopping, dusting, polishing.
Laundry management - clothing and linens and coordinating dry cleaning with local dry cleaning delivery firm.
Ironing
Waste management
Maintaining cleaning equipment - irons, washing/dishwashing machines, cleaning out the hoover, cleaning fridge/ovens/hobs.
Coordinating gardener and window cleaners on regular basis.
Receiving packages on behalf of the family.
Shopping basic groceries during the week or receiving online shopping orders and packing the fridge.
Any other duties as commensurate with the post.

The ideal candidate will have had some experience of working for a family in a similar setting in London and who has experience of keeping up with children, in particular, when they are in the house. The family is seeking a professional who has high standards of punctuality, care and hygiene, and someone who is proactive, motivated, genuinely enjoys this job and who can be fun with the children. Please note that only candidates with a good level of English comprehension will be interviewed.
The candidate must be a UK resident or have an appropriate working visa and possess 2 recent references with phone numbers and email addresses, along with a certifiable DBS certificate.
Start as soon as possible (late Aug 2022/early Sept 2022).
Salary £450 - 500 per week, depending on experience.
