We're looking for someone to effectively be both an au pair and a cleaner, who wants to live in, and work 25 hours per week.
We have two children, who'll turn 5 and 7 in the new year.
Duties would involve: 
• Ten hours a week childcare — breakfast and drop-off at school twice a week, and pick-up from school, homework and tea twice a week. We can be a bit flexible about which days of the week.
• Two evenings babysitting — though we don't always use both. 
• Fifteen hours housekeeping — cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying, basic errands at local shops.
You would have your own bedroom, on your own floor at the top of the house, with an ensuite bathroom. We are a friendly family, used to having someone living in the house, having had au pairs for the last three years. I work part-time, for a charity; my husband works full-time, and occasionally travels abroad for work.
We are happy to welcome someone into our home and introduce them to friends who might also offer extra babysitting or cleaning hours themselves. Alternatively it would suit someone who wants to study at college part-time, or who already has part-time work elsewhere.
We live in Poets' Corner in Acton, ten minutes' walk from the boys' school. It's less than ten minutes to our local London Overground station (zone 3), and fifteen minutes to the tube.
