We are currently seeking a professional, experienced and self-motivated couple to manage the home of a client who is, for the majority of the year, based overseas.  Located in central London, and caring for a property that has recently undergone extensive renovation works this is a very unique role for a couple looking for a long term, stable role with very juxtaposing times of being 24/7 when the Principals are in residence, and then having to manage your own workload when they aren’t.
Owing to this, you must be proven self-starters, happy to manage your own responsibilities and set your own targets.  This is a rare opportunity to live in a prime part of London, with access to the West End, Regents Park and Theatre Land on the doorstep; to care for a house, and keep it in turn key condition in anticipation of the Principals’ arrival.  The outgoing couple were with them for 30 years prior to retirement, so this really could be a job for life.
Hours:                        As dictated by the Principals’ requirements.
Location:                   Central London.

Start Date:                  as soon as possible.
Interviewing:             as soon as possible.
Notes:                        Accommodation has separate entrance.
Responsibilities include, but not limited.
Being available to the owners at all reasonable times when in residence.
Assisting with the smooth running of the household in all facets.
Maintaining the household to the owners’ satisfaction.
Overseeing the management of outside contractors.
Helping the owners with any other reasonable requests or duties.
Principal tasks for both internal and external responsibilities.
¨        Overseeing the general housekeeping, and ensuring the property is keep to a high standard at all times.
¨        Cooking for the family when in residence.
¨        Shopping, running errands and regular stock checks.
¨        Assisting in the planning and running of events.
¨        Laundry and ironing
¨        Maintaining household security (alarms, etc)
¨        Monitor internal and external repairs – liaising with contractors when required.
¨        Overseeing external / internal projects.
¨        Driving
¨        Car of cars
Candidates must be / have:
¨        Competent level of cooking
¨        Understand the care of fine art, furniture and antiques.
¨        experience in a similar role and of cleaning large houses is required.
¨        Have proof of right to work in the UK.
¨        Up to date Enhanced CRB or be prepared to get one.
¨        A positive 'can-do' attitude and a genuine willingness to work for the family long term.

¨        Well-presented, energetic, friendly and professional.
