French speaking Nanny/Governess is required mainly for a 10-year old girl, to be based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia; with travel 2-4 times per year. The Nanny will also be required to spend some time with the younger brother aged 18 months old - to encourage his language and educational development (he has his own nanny, so this is purely to assist in promoting his development rather than caring for his day to day needs).
The young girl attends school each day until 3pm; so main hours will be 3pm to bedtime - and full-time in the school holidays. Your duties will be to encourage the child to speak French and improve her language and grammar skills. You must also speak an excellent level of English and be able to assist with English language tutoring. You will be expected to assist with all homework topics and projects. The girl also really enjoys arts and crafts, and baking and cooking and you will be expected to encourage this creativity - finding and arranging activities and outings.
You will be provided with your own room and bathroom in the staff apartment and will have use of the gym and swimming pool. You must be a fit , healthy, positive person with a passion for tutoring and child-development. You must enjoy travel and be happy to embrace a different culture. You must be a team player, who finds it easy to get along with others and able to fit into a fully staffed home.
