Our private client is recruiting a Live in Nanny or Manny and Family Assistant
An energetic, fun and capable individual is required to join a young dynamic family based in West London. The successful candidate will be caring for three children aged 8, 6 and 4 and should have a clear understanding of their pastoral and educational needs.
The candidate will assist with day to day administration for the children such as booking activities, play dates and appointment along with general assistance to the whole family such as travel itineraries, day to day schedules and property management.
Job Description
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am until 6.00pm but during school terms the
likely hours are Monday to Friday 11.00am until 8.00pm with the school run twice a week from
7.30am to 8.30am. Flexibility with hours is a must
One nights’ babysitting per week as part of the package and additional occasional evening
babysitting on an ad hoc basis.
Start Date: As soon as possible
• International and domestic travel required during term time and school holidays. The travel
hours would be 8.00am until 6.00pm and this would be a 6-day week.
Salary: £40,000.00 Gross per annum
Daily Duties
Daily duties to include; school run, play, homework assistance, arranging and attending afterschool activities, arranging play dates and other social activities, preparing healthy light meals
and snacks, bath and bedtime routine.
Communicating with parents about the children’s schedules and well-being on a daily basis.
Providing innovative and fun educational and intellectual stimulation; from taking the
children to the park and museums to cooking and painting at home.
Taking the family dog on a walk in the nearby park.
Being an active part of the family and providing additional support around the home when
necessary; such as food shopping, attending Doctor appointments.
Help with light housekeeping such as bed making, light laundry and housekeeping in the
absence of the Housekeeper.
Assisting the family with day to day support such as restaurant reservations, household
budgets and maintenance.
Organising family travel and holidays when requested.
A healthy, easy-going, fun, flexible nature is essential. Knowledge of London is also required.
A responsible nature, the youngest child has a nut allergy so the right candidate must be
comfortable with using at Epi Pen.
The successful candidate will be an outgoing person who has a relaxed attitude to life and be happy fitting into a changing schedule.
