Our lovely client is looking for a very capable, calm and experienced individual to become the Full Time Housekeeper for her stunning house in NW1. This role is a Live In role and is responsible for the Housekeeping of this luxury property including cleaning, laundry, ironing and organising. The family have two children aged 7 and 9.
Role details:
Hours: 7am – 7pm. Monday to Friday plus Sunday evenings from 5pm.
Accommodation: Room within the house with own bathroom. Start Date: From 31st October 2022.
Responsibilities:
• Full cleaning of this beautiful residence to a consistently extremely high standard including dusting, vacuuming and polishing.
• Delicate care of high-end specialist surfaces including limestone, mahogany and marble.
• All laundry including bedding changes.
• Ironing of clothes and other items as required.
• General tidying including loading and unloading dishwasher, clearing glasses, washing up, hanging clothes and Towels.
• Assisting the Principal with food preparation and cooking where necessary.
• Occasional supervision of the children if the Principals are not at home.
• Regular clearing out of fridge and kitchen cupboards with guidance from the Principal.
• Cleaning of inside windows when required.
• Sewing and mending of clothes when needed.
• Watering and general care of indoor plants.
Candidate Requirements
• At least five years experience in Housekeeping roles for Private Households.
• Ability to plan your hours in the house and prioritise tasks appropriately.
• Proven Housekeeping skills with the ability and dedication to have the residence always looking in immaculate condition.
• You will be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent standard of spoken and written English. You must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively via phone and text.
• A Russian speaker would be an advantage.
• Ability to be loyal, discrete and totally dependable.
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• Legally able to work in the UK.
