We are looking for a live-in, French-speaking au pair to care for two lovely children, Elizabeth (7) and Alexander (4.5).
We live close to the River Thames and Tate Britain Gallery in Pimlico, Central London. The accommodation is the whole top floor of our house: a large bedroom and en-suite bathroom (photos can be provided).
We require childcare for approximately 22 hours in a 4 day week (7:30am till 9:00am and 3:20pm until 7:00pm usually with Tuesdays off) though some flexibility is needed during the days, school holidays and for occasional evening babysitting. Duties include helping the children dress and taking them to school, collecting them and taking them to after school activities, preparing their evening meal, doing their laundry and ironing and keeping their areas of the house (bedroom, play areas) tidy. And of course, helping them have fun and learn.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, kind-hearted, patient and reliable, and who speaks fluent French. Our children have had French nannies and au pairs for 4 years and we would like you to help them build their French language skills.
The start date is 20th August 2022 and we are looking for someone who wants to stay for at least a year. The salary is negotiable dependent on experience. If you are planning to study English, there are opportunities for lessons at several local colleges.
