Live in Nanny for 2 boys from £200-250 per week. 4 weeks paid holiday. Plus annual bonus after completing a successful year.

We are a Spanish/Italian family looking for an experienced live in nanny for our 2 boys. This position is perfect for someone with at least a year of au-pair experience with children of similar age (11-9), or someone with teaching qualifications who wants to get a hands-on understanding of the British school system. You must be living in the UK already and ideally know London well. A proficient level of English is necessary for this job as you will be very involved in school life and homework.
The job is mainly focused on school life, taking the children to and from school and making sure homework and school schedule is up to date in the family calendar. No day is the same in our family! The boys go to two different schools so being organised, and capable to juggle a busy schedule is a must. A genuine love for children and education is necessary, as well as having a creative mind to make chores fun for them. Of course, there's fun to be had too, and during school holidays you will be in charge of running an exciting calendar of activities. We have a housekeeper so you are not expected to do any house work, however you are expected to tidy after yourself and make sure you the boys do the same (tidy their rooms, set and clear table after meals etc.).
You need to be ready to start working Monday -Friday at 6:30am, you are free from 9:30-3:30pm, and finish your day by 8:30pm. During school holidays the times will vary depending on activities. You will have 4 weeks of paid holiday per year to be taken at a suitable time for all, plus one babysitting per week on a rolling Rota.
We live in a spacious apartment in a Victorian converted school. We have a lovely garden and friendly Neighbours. You will have your own room with large west facing windows and share a bathroom with the boys. We are a relaxed friendly family and we treat our nannies as family members. Most of our previous nannies have stayed in London and have moved on their careers and we have stayed in touch.
