Professional family of 2 Parents and 4 children who have recently relocated back to Oxfordshire are looking for an experienced, loyal, professional, and happy couple to assist in their large, but manageable family house. The duties include some driving, cooking, housekeeping duties, light maintenance and overseeing the smooth running of the family’s residence.
The family are flexible as to who carries out which duties, and want you to be able to play to your strengths and have diversity.
The family themselves are international, have 2 children at boarding school who are home at weekends and the holidays and 2 who are at day school locally, and therefore this role is best suited to a really family friendly couple – a couple who like being in a busy, vibrant home, who don’t mind mucking in with the kids, and who are comfortable with the slightly chaotic daily life that comes with a busy family.
Hours: 09:00 – 20:00 (Suitable Breaks during the day, and Flexibility required)
5-day week with days off during the week, must be able to work weekends as that is when there may be guests and all the children home.
Location: South Oxfordshire, 45 Mins from London
Salary: £50k

Driver: You need to be a confident and safe driver, preferably a non-smoker with a clean driver’s licence. The mother takes the children to school every morning but there will be shared school trips at least 3 days a week and also to London on occasion.
Accommodation: Separate house on the Estate at the end of the driveway
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Due to the size of the property you will need to have previous experience managing a large property, there will be another household staff /cook on the property who has been with the family a long time
• Complete housekeeping and daily cleaning / bed making and washing
• Serving help in the kitchen, especially with guests on the weekend.
• House Management skills
• There will be occasional ad hoc duties that you will need to be able to assist with, such as assisting at dinner parties, and running errands
• There are 4 gardeners on site, so you are unlikely to be involved in this area but the successful couple won’t be averse to assisting in the garden immediately around the house and terrace if required, or helping the handyman

• Yacht experience is advantageous
