Live In Domestic Couple (Housekeeper and Maintenance/Houseman)-Overseas Family-Cottage Style Accommodation-£800-£900 net per week.
Job Location and Family Description
This is a lovely job for an experienced domestic couple to work on a beautiful estate to the North of London, on the borders of Buckinghamshire.
The estate has a main house which has recently been modernised to a high standard, and another house which is used for guests.  The main house is used by an overseas Principal and his wife.  They visit at regular times throughout the year, sometimes for a few days and sometimes for two/three weeks.  The Principal's mother will also move into the estate, in her own separate accommodation, later in the year.  The estate is run by a land manager and his wife.

Job Details
The role for the housekeeper will be to keep the properties cleaned and well presented at all times.  The Land Manager's wife will help you with this and making up guest rooms etc. At busy times. Laundry and ironing, including the care of fine fabrics, meeting and greeting visitors, setting the table for meals, some cooking on occasion (although the Principals bring a Chef with them), and whatever else is needed to keep the property running smoothly.  The Principal's mother will have someone living in with her but you should be happy to occasionally keep her company if her housekeeper needs to go out, or perhaps take her for a drive etc.

The other half of the couple's role will be for a general handyman to help around the houses, keep the cinema, pool and gym areas cleaned, some cleaning or helping with general cleaning, sort out the recycling, driving duties when the Principals are in residence, shopping and running errands and anything else that is needed.  In addition, the Estate has beautiful gardens and they do have their own gardeners - however, if you would like to help out in the gardens occasionally then they would be happy for you to do so.
Candidate Requirements
It is essential that you have worked as a domestic couple with similar duties in an executive style private residence for at least 2 years with suitable references. You will both need to drive (car supplied) and be experienced drivers.  You will also need to speak good English, be well presented, able to work to a high level and also happy to work on your own and as part of a team.

Days of Work and Salary Package
The role is five days a week with most weekends free, although some flexibility with your days off may be needed if the Principals are in residence. Your hours of work will depend on whether the Principals are in residence, if they have guests, or if the house is not being used so sometimes you will work longer days and sometimes shorter days.   Your accommodation is newly modernised cottage style on two floors, separate to the main house, with two bedrooms.  Salary is negotiable but in the region of £800 to £900 net per week + bills paid on accommodation.
