Live-in au pair / cook / housekeeper in Fulham.
We are a busy family (with 14 year old girl, 15 year old boy and grandmother) who requires some help to run the household. As well as our professional roles, we all enjoy sport and outdoor activities. We live in a beautiful part of Fulham, South West London. The post would suit a friendly, energetic person who takes pride in their work. Daytime hours are flexible and would combine well with part-time further education or a higher degree.
Responsibilities of the post
Shopping for food and household items
Preparing and clearing evening meals, and some lunches during school holidays.
Washing and ironing of clothes and bedding.
Cleaning and tidying the house
What we require
Monday to Friday
30 Hours per week on average – flexible timing.
Currently in the UK and available for interview.
Available to start at or before the beginning of March.
Responsible, well-organised, flexible and caring, with good attention to detail.
Enjoys cooking a wide variety of meals
Good English
House keeping/cooking or au pair/Chalet staff experience in the UK with verifiable references.
CRB/DBS check for the UK and current working visa.
Non-smoker
Ability to help the children with French, German or Spanish would be helpful (but not essential)
What you get
Own self-contained bedroom, kitchen/dining room and bathroom with separate access.
In refurbished family house with garden
Close to shops, river, parks and Putney Bridge tube and bus station (2 Mins walk, District line)
Television with DVD player and wireless broadband access.
Salary includes annual leave, tax, national insurance and pension contribution.
4 Weeks paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
