Companions are employed directly by one elderly 'host' and live with them, in their home, helping with domestic duties, running errands and sometimes with personal care.
PART-TIME Companions are carefully chosen paid lodgers. They get free accommodation, meals + £125 p.w. Average in return for 25 hours per week of help. These positions are suitable for any professional who has other work during the day and can live-in and help around the home each morning and evening.
FULL-TIME live-in companion positions for highly experienced carers and former-nurses are available throughout London and the rest of the UK. £550-£750 per week gross, depending on hours requirements, skills and location.
