A child friendly live in Housekeeper is sought to look after a beautiful 5 floor town house for a great family of 4 living in London, W8.
My clients have 2 children who are 5 and 8 years so they are looking for a child friendly, youthful and energetic Housekeeper although a large percentage of the role is that of housekeeping. Duties would be general cleaning and laundry, ironing, looking after luxury interiors and possessions plus preparing simple family meals. The Mother is at home and looks after the children most of the time. The hours are 7am until 7pm Monday to Friday plus 2 nights babysitting per week Monday to Thursday. Quite often the family will not require you to work on a Friday afternoon in which case you are free from lunchtime on Fridays.
You will be required to prepare breakfast for the children and must be able to prepare, either alone or assisting the Mother, a simple but healthy supper for the whole family to share such as roast chicken, grilled salmon and vegetables, lasagne etc.
A basement apartment is provided for the Housekeeper with bedroom, ensuit bathroom, kitchenette and TV. This accommodation is not suitable for more than one person. It would suit the family if the Housekeeper would like to visit their own family or friends at weekends giving both parties more privacy over the weekend.
My clients are looking for a Housekeeper who has a cheerful disposition, enjoys working for a semi formal family who look after their employees.
The job is to start as soon as possible after 19th February and a salary of up to £550 net per week is on offer depending on experience.
In order for good communication purposes applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Applicants must have at least 3 years recent experience working for one private family in the UK and verifiable written references from their previous employers.
If you meet this criteria and are looking to stay in your next job for at least 2 years but preferably longer please send a copy of your CV making sure your relevant experience for this job is shown on the CV and copies of written references to me. I will not consider candidates without verifiable written references.
All applicants must have a visa/passport to work in the UK, be based in the UK already and available to attend an interview with the agency in London before their details will be sent to the client.
