The role
We have male and female clients who are friendly and family orientated and will be good to work with. They are looking for Live in Carers to support them, generally working two weeks on one week off, on a one to one basis. This will be a really varied role which will include personal care, meal preparation, cleaning and laundry but also during the day you may be accompanying him to access the community.
All applicants will need to be reliable, honest, and hardworking, have excellent written and communication skills. They will need to be practical and organised, have a can do approach, be adaptable and all must be willing to deal with personal care, have a good sense of humour and preferably have experience of using a hoist (or willing to learn) and be confident in this, and finally, be willing to work in an a environment where the clients cat and or dog will be present. experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
