We are looking for an experienced Au Pair to start from September. Our daughter will be 11 months by then so previous experience with infants is essential. A this stage we will need support 5 days per week with two days off, although the days off may vary depending on what we have on each week.We will ensure you get a minimum of 2 day off per week. This is a live in position, so all living expenses will be covered such as food / rent and a weekly travel card. In addition, we will pay up to £150 per week depending on experience. Role Overview Provide complete care for our 11 month old daughter within our home and perform all tasks that correlate to her care. Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which our daughter can thrive and develop. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities* prepare bottles / equipment for feeding * changing nappies / dirty clothes * assist with bath time when required * Attend baby appropriate activities * Assist with light housework, such as packing / unpacking dishwasher, keeping play areas tidy, laundry, cleaning and washing up after baby's meals * prepare meals and snacks for baby * undertake appropriate creative and developmental activities * undertake appropriate outdoor activities with our daughter * planning and supervising rest, bed and nap times* reinforce appropriate discipline as guided by parents * implementing daily routines* running ad hoc errands Education and experience* Previous experience caring for an infant essential * Proven childcare experience with References required * further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training * Ideally First Aid trained * driving license preferred but not essential * CRB checked Key Competencies* flexibility* adaptability* ability to multitask* emotional maturity* good judgment skills* planning and organizing skills* stress tolerance* high energy level Excellent communication skills.
