Live In Au Pair couple ( nanny, house managers and driver ) for a busy household, split between two houses - with your own self contained garden flat in London's Maida Vale. Would suit young Aussie / kiwi professional couple on 2-3 year European adventure. You’ll be energetic, have plenty of initiative and a positive can-do attitude.

Your main role will be to look after our lively, sporty, Lego obsessed 8 year old son Stanley, and be house managers to our homes -  you’ll become a member of our extended family. Our previous Kiwi nanny has been with us for 6 years!
Between the two of you - you’ll be Nanny and Buddy to Stan plus run our 2 households and family diary.

West Sussex - weekends and holidays

Main Duties :
Nanny / Buddy and homework guru to Stanley - cooking and housework for Stanley and occasional family meals. School run, after school activities and play dates in term time. It would be a great help if you love playing tennis, football, chess and cricket as well.
PA to the family - booking personal diary events and family holidays.
Handywork / garden / general maintenance plus errands for both houses.
Light Housekeeping and cleaning in both houses - We have cleaners in both houses so it would be to keep your own apartment clean, but to also to ensure houses are always ready to receive ( we love entertaining )
Household driver - occasional school runs - Stanley will normally get public transport or walk with one of you / trips between London and Sussex etc.
One Experienced driver required ( car can be provided )
The set up:
The successful couple we get their own large one bedroom garden flat, with its own entrance in Little Venice - which has playroom for Stanley in it as well. The flat is in the same house as our main home. Newly refurbished - with a to die for kitchen that I’m jealous of! if you love cooking - this would be an excellent flat for you to live in. A large double bedroom, walk in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom ( bath and shower ), living and dining room - tv room / snug.
Comes with broadband, sky - all bills paid except telephone. Food included when cooking and eating with the family.
Work days are Monday to Friday with 2 nights babysitting included. 7am - 7pm cover needed to manage school / workdays. One working weekend a month ( not always used ) - others by arrangement with additional pay.
We offer £500-600 pocket money per week, per couple depending on experience. 4 weeks paid holiday by arrangement. Accommodation and car provided.
We would insist that the Nanny role was full time cover and only worked for us as a family, but the other partner in the couple could be more flexible - and the role could work more as a Part Time role - so could suit someone who also worked freelance - we are relaxed as long as things get done in a timely and professional manner in our homes.

My husband works between London and New York, I’m about to launch a new media company - so we would need a couple who’d be flexible as well. Stanley is at school 8am - 4pm, and would need the successful couple to be big brother / sister, mentor and best friend all in one.
Small print :
You will need your own working visas / British Passport. We will also look for references to be provided - and preferably you will have been CRB checked. Ideally want interviews to be video and in person if possible.
