We are looking for a kind, energetic, organised Au Pair (male or female) to start as soon as possible.
We are a a warm, friendly family (with 2 cats and a hamster!) who live in a lovely, light, modern home close to Wandsworth Common. We have 2 boys (12 and nearly 9), plus an older son who is away at boarding school. We are looking someone to help with the boys for a short time in the morning, and then after school, every weekday - plus some evening babysitting. The ideal candidate will have good spoken English and a good sense of humour!
Hours : 25 hours per week : Monday - Friday : c.7-8am (1 hour) and c.3.45 - 7.45pm (4 hours) each afternoon PLUS 3 evenings of babysitting per week (1 to be a Friday or Saturday night).
Duties to include: helping with breakfast, doing all of the boys' laundry and ironing, keeping their rooms and playroom tiday and organised, collecting the children from school most afternoons, taking them to and from some after-school clubs and preparing supper for them (and clearing up afterwards). In addition the Au Pair will be required to give some basic assistance with homework and reading for our younger son, plus some basic additional household chores (i.e. Feeding the cats and unpacking food deliveries etc).
Accommodation : A lovely double bedroom with en-suite shower room on a separate floor to the rest of the family. The Au Pair is able to use the playroom / kids' tv room as their sitting room in the evenings.
Ideal candidates (male and female) should have a good level of spoken English and this is an ideal position for a student (our last 3 lovely au pairs were all students and all wonderful!).
