Linux Systems SpecialistGBP 30k-40k pa depending on experience etc Location: London SE1 0NZFull time Bored with running the network at your current employer and not having much to do, or frustrated with being part of a big Help Desk team that treats you more as a resource than a person? In that case we may have just the job for you!Ideally you will be a Linux enthusiast but still willing to work on Microsoft systems too. experience with Debian and Red Hat based distros is essential, you will be expected to deploy, manage and update various Linux systems, usually via SSH. Our client are also Asterisk specialists, so any experience in managing a VoIP PBX will be useful. This is not a job for people who are only comfortable working with a GUI!Our client is a dynamic company that offer plenty of opportunities for the right people who enjoy a variety of technical challenges and the chance to expand their skillsets. As a member of the technical team you will primarily be based in their central London office, but they provide flexible working conditions and remote working for established staff. Should you wish to specialise in a particular area going forward, or diversify into a more consultancy based role then they are always keen to work with their staff to develop their careers.
