CWUK are looking for a Lifestyle Copywriter to join our content marketing team in South West London. If you're a quick learner and above all else an excellent writer who understands the principles of copywriting in a digital environment, you'll fit in great with this young and dynamic agency.

This is a new position we’re making available thanks to excellent company growth over the past year. The role offers a wealth of opportunity for the right applicant with the chance to gain experience in various elements of content marketing on both client and in-house projects.

You will be working on copy creation for a client base that includes health foods, sweets, property and beauty. Our contracts range from one-offs creating fresh static content for a website to full digital marketing work building a client’s online profile and business on an ongoing basis with regular blogs, social media and other areas of support.

You’ll be working with a team experienced in driving organic conversions, implementing SEO best practice, managing and generating paid-for traffic, social media strategies and branding, and of course, copywriting.

At the heart of all of our services is great content, written with care and thought, with the goal of creating something unique and original for each client. Creating this all-important content will be at the heart of your role with us.

We are looking for something special when it comes to writing style. You will have a sharp eye for language and know what’s what when it comes to writing and editing. But on top of this, your writing must demonstrate style and originality.

Ideally, you’ll also have a genuine interest in the evolving digital marketing and content marketing industries and embrace the opportunities that come with working for a small company, along with the demands and responsibilities inherent in such a position. You’ll be working on a day to day basis with another copywriter and the company directors and have a great chance to see the nuts and bolts of an agency in action.

Core Responsibilities within the Role

Generate content calendars with original ideas and article topics for regular clients.
Research and write articles and blogs on a daily basis.
Monitor a wide range of industry news sources to ensure you are aware and up to date on our client’s industries and sectors.
Proofread and edit articles and copy written by others, bringing them up to exacting in-house standards.
Work with the team to develop new creative angles and content strategies for clients and ensure that ongoing services are delivering value.
Create social media posts that reflect each client’s brand and use your understanding of social media to give these the best reach possible.
Collaborate with the team to actively implement new ideas to evolve the company.
Essential Skills and experience

Excellent copywriting skills, we are looking for a particularly talented writer.

Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a copywriting-heavy job role.

English to first-language equivalent level.

Professional social media experience
