Part time LGV Category C / HGV Class 2 Flexible Relief Driver –
Ideal for semi-retired driver or someone not seeking a full time position.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Logistics Team and be responsible for helping us continue to improve logistical services and grow Empire Laundry into London’s premier service provider for Hotel Linen hire laundry service by covering drivers on annual leave or sickness.
As you can imagine there's more to the job than you might think - Such as learning the routes, loading and checking orders against delivery notes into your vehicle, then delivering clean and collecting dirty linen at various hotels inside and outside London taking care of our customer’s items back to their hotels in a courteous manor with great customer service.
Our drivers have a 'can do attitude’ and there's a real pride in looking after our customer’s while providing the best possible service each and every time so your customer service skills will be just as important as your driving skills here.
On our routes you’ll drive 12t rigid body lorry with a tail lift using roll-on roll-off cages.
You’ll regularly work on Sundays for 36 days of the year and cover holidays for 24 weeks of the year.

Must have a HGV Class 2 / LGV Category C, CPC and Tachograph card.

To be eligible for this vacancy you must:
Physically fit and able to move roll on, roll off cages and handballing 15kg laundry bags.
You must be 25 years or over (Insurance condition)
Live with 10 miles of N17 0UL
Be eligible to Work and live in the UK
Hold a Full UK drivers licence
Command a good level of English
Commercial Driving experience with a LGV in London.
Customer Service experience
Have had no driving disqualifications in the last 10 years.
Have no more than 3 points currently on your driving licence.
No Accidents in past 3 years
