Lifetime Tennis Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and committed coach to join its growing team. We run a well-attended community tennis-coaching program for juniors and adults across South London – Barnes, Southfields, Clapham and Dulwich. We also manage the Wandsworth Academy indoor program at the National Tennis Centre.

There is an opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Lead coach to take on 10 + group coaching hours per week and the chance to grow the total number of hours if this is desired. We are looking for a coach that can inspire our players with excellent knowledge, energy and enthusiasm in each lesson they teach. There may also be longer-term opportunities for a Level 3 coach wanting to work in program development alongside our experienced head coach. Our program involves teaching both junior and adult players, coaches should have good experience in effectively working with each of these groups. Pay for this role will be £20/hr.
We also have part time assistant coach hours available this summer, for Level 1 and 2 coaches with a strong work ethic and a good playing standard. Pay for these roles is dependent on qualification and experience and is from £12.50-£15 per hour.
We have a systematic approach to our group-coaching program and coaches will need to commit to work alongside our excellent team within this system. Our have a progressive approach to coaching and adopt a ‘play and learn’ system with lots of cooperative play alongside drilling – meaning that we avoid ‘lines’ of players waiting for their turn completely.
