About Us
We are Manors Sales and Lettings, we are a well-established Property Management Company based on Cranbrook Road, Ilford. An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for a well experienced Lettings Negotiator and Property Inspector to join our expanding team. Your role will be centered around assisting the lettings team in the day to day running of the department, including going out and negotiating deals, renting rooms/ houses, inspecting properties and writing up reports, as well as general administration.
Salary
The position starts from £9.00 Gross per Hour but can be reviewed depending on experience, hard work and motivation.
Timing
Monday – Friday
9am – 6pm (including 1 hour lunch break)
Saturday
9am – 1pm
This position is with immediate start, training will be provided.
Job Description:
• To cold call Landlords and arrange viewings
• To carry out rental assessments, routine property inspections and tenant viewings
• Identify sales leads and act appropriately to secure a successful deal
• To meet potential landlords at their properties and negotiate rent
• To inspect empty properties, book repairs and oversee all work
• Prepare necessary contracts, leases and documentation
• Inventory Checks
• General administration
• Full use of booking system
• Improving facilities, services and standards
• Implementing new ideas and systems
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• experience in this Job is desirable or within a sales driven environment (3 +
YEARS)
• Persuasive sales manor with a strong customer/client focus
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• An approachable attitude - service with a smile
• A diplomatic approach
• Good spoken and written English
• The ability to work in a team and alone, when required, using your initiative
• Ability to prioritise work load and work under pressure
• Good organisational skills with great attention to detail
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn various software
• Good knowledge of Ilford, Barking, Dagenham and Newham Areas, this is essential
• A full clean, current and valid UK driving license.
