Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, fixed term basis and will receive a salary of £26,382 - £29,000 per annum.

A vacancy has arisen within the Private Rental Team for a full time Lettings Negotiator. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent customer skills, have worked successfully in a Lettings or Sales environment, demonstrated outstanding performance in a target led environment.
The Lettings Negotiator will provide excellent front line customer service while negotiating the letting of residential property by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met and the departmental/team objectives are achieved. Working flexibly, as required, conducting viewings at evenings or weekends to facilitate the prompt letting of properties.
Knowledge/experience/ skills required by the Lettings Negotiator:
- Track record working within a private rent lettings environment.
- experience achieving and surpassing targets in a sales environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Numerate as well as good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrable understanding and commitment to customer service and valuing diversity.
- Good knowledge of the lettings process, housing legislation and the rental offers available in the market.
- Intermediate competence level of Microsoft Office packages. Fast, accurate keyboarding skills and strong administrative skills.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work under pressure/to short deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, working on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- experience of using financial systems and maintaining financial records.
- Good time keeping
Contract: Until end of March 2022
