Lettings Coordinator Wanted in London

Square Quarters are an independent multi award winning estate agent based in Islington N1 members of UKALA, TPO and Safe Agent, searching for a superstar lettings coordinator to join our busy office.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in lettings with knowledge and capability in the entire lettings process from processing letting applications to co-ordinating property repairs and maintenance.
Strong people skills are essential with the ability to Mediate, co-ordinate and resolve day to day issues in a polite and positive manner dealing with landlords and tenants. Also a vital skill needed is attention to detail as you will be dealing with contracts.
The role presents a great career opportunity with excellent prospects for progression within small friendly team.
Responsibilities and Duties

Ensure all tenancy records are complete and up to date.
Process rent payments, ensure all rents are entered into our property management system and produce month-end Landlord statements.
Tenant referencing
Act as Property Manager, responsible for all aspects of letting and management of a small property portfolio.
Provide support to the Directors
Answering telephone calls and dealing with email enquiries.
General office admin duties
Tenancy contract preparation
Organise and maintain the office filing system.
Ensure that our invoicing and receipts systems are a ‘dream’ for our bookkeeper.
Enter data on the in-house database system.
Chase late rent payments, by phone and process payments by credit/debit card.
Manage the annual rent review and renewals process.
Manage the tenant replacements process

Qualifications and Skills

1 Year proven property experience
Strong people skills (to be able to build relationships with clients, tenants and landlords). Ability to communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in written form.
Basic knowledge of common problems associated with residential properties.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Disciplined approach to organisation and the ability to prioritise tasks.
Highly motivated and positive with a "can do" attitude.
Have excellent organisational skills
The ability to progress large volumes of administration.
Strong IT skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong time management skills with a eye for detail.

Benefits
Salary and Benefits Salary £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience and qualifications, Company Mobile Phone, Pension.
Hours of employment Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 6.30 pm, Friday to 6 pm.
