JOB PROFILE:
Awaiting Eyes Foundation is a U.K registered charity (No: 1117222) that helps orphan children overseas by providing them with basic necessities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic LEGAL ASSISTANT, Volunteer
The job will consist of:
• Production of letters and legal documents such as Wills, contracts and court papers
• Working from notes and digital dictation
• Answering telephone calls in a professional manner
• Dealing with enquiries from clients via email, fax and letter
• Using a diary management system and making appointments
• Keeping records of costs and controlling petty cash
• Dealing with fee processes
• Delivering and collecting documents
• Copying, scanning and faxing, including preparation of large files
• Filing and other general administration work.
• MANDATORY FUNDRAISING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK
OFFICE WORKING TIME: 9AM TO 5PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
With your skills, you can be part of an amazing team. No previous experience is required as full training would be provided.
Please note this is a voluntary unpaid role.
Initial commitment of 3 days a week for the first two months, thereafter - 2 days a week (flexible).
In return, volunteers often gain experience of an office environment, and learn new skills or develop existing ones.
