We are seeking two enthusiastic, experienced and committed LSAs to join our multi-disciplinary team, based in our youngest/most complex needs class, and an older class working around the middle of our ability range. Much of the formal academic work is carried out in pairs and small groups, and LSAs share in the delivery of the curriculum. experience of working with students who have a range of learning needs and challenging behaviours is essential.
Parayhouse is a non-maintained special school, run by a registered charity to provide a specialist education for students from 7 - 16 with speech, language and communication needs, moderate learning difficulties and emotional, social and behavioural needs. We currently serve 13 London Boroughs and students are spread across 5 classes, based on language and learning levels. We are co-located in part of the Hammersmith and Fulham College, with excellent transport links.
This post is available for the start of the Autumn Term [3rd September 2022], following a successful interview and good references. The closing date for applications is Friday 6th July, with interviews on Thursday 12th July.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to tour the school and spend a lesson in one of the two classes, to see and understand our collaborative practice.
