Temporary contract : 31st October - 1st January
40 h/week - Hours 3pm-10:30pm
2 consecutive days off
For the successful candidate we are offering a generous hourly salary depending on experience, we pay fairly and reward people who work hard. A bonus scheme will also be put in place should the targets be met.
We have started Madame and Monsieur earlier this year as a street food stall , trading in markets and making croque-monsieurs. This winter Madame and Monsieur will be popping up on Mariott Park Lane Rooftop (W1) from 1st November to 31st December.
This will be our first residency, we are really proud of it and we want someone committed, who is happy to lead the operation and take initiatives.
You will be your own boss, from receiving goods to taking payment and serving customers. This is a hands-on job that will require you to be organised and have a good level of leadership, as well as a good customer relationship.
We are looking for someone :
With at least 2 years of experience in a food environment, that is : kitchen, counter service, catering, fresh food operation.
Someone with managerial experience is preferable but above all we are looking for someone who is committed, eager to lead the operation and take responsibilities.
Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum - Level 3 preferably.
Duties include :
Managing food and dry goods orders, receiving deliveries, managing stock.
Ensuring that Madame Monsieur operations are compliant with Food safety regulations, this include due diligence paperwork, respect of good food practice, high level of personal hygiene. We are very strict with this matter and expect you to be too.
Mise en place before service including preparing all ingredients on the menu, according to the recipes, making sure that there is sufficient level of supplies - fresh food, dry goods.
Taking customers’ orders and handling card payments.
Preparing food during service according to the specifications , ensuring that the quality of the food is consistent at all times.
Report to the company directors on a daily / weekly basis : report on any issues, carry on stock take weekly, fill in handover sheets.
