The Wheatsheaf, London Bridge has an awesome opportunity opening up for the chance to join our team as our new Head Chef.
With the fantastic foodie buzz of bustling borough market on our door step, we need someone who's really passionate about creating brilliant contemporary dishes and quality classic british food. With a small but busy kitchen team serving Brunch, Lunch and of course Sunday Roasts there's never a dull moment and we aim to delight our customers with every single bite.
The Responsibilities of our new head chef will include:
Management of the kitchen team
Ensuring service standards are above and beyond with every dish
Food quality and compliance expectations met at all times
Develop, implement and review our classic yet, innovative menus throughout the year
Delivering the budgeted food General Practitioner % at all times through weekly stock management
Business risk compliance and standards met through managing kitchen performance.
Wheatsheaf are looking for a natural leader with a passion and flair for producing quality fresh food in a fulfilling environment, with a proactive approach to driving sales and delivering growth through engagement with the kitchen and communication with our fantastic front of house teams.
The role is Full Time, Permanent with a negotiable salary. We also offer our Head Chef a fantastic benefits package, with 28 days holiday, 20% discount in all Young’s and Geronimo managed pubs and hotels, a fun and rewarding working environment and excellent career progression opportunities with our successful development programs and accredited Chef Academy.
