Our broad range of specialised digital and language services include SEO, social media, ASO, copywriting, transcreation, mobile, web and paid amplification.
We are working on a high visibility artificial intelligence application for one of the major companies and we are looking for Language Leads to join an international and highly successful translation organization based in London.
The role is based in vibrant office in London, Fitzrovia and you will be joining a highly motivated, international team that cover all aspects of digital marketing.
We are looking for near native level speaking candidates of below languages:
- Turkish
- Swedish
- Finnish
- Norwegian
- Dutch (Netherlands)
- Danish (Traditional/Mandarin for China)
- Chinese (Traditional/Mandarin for Taiwan)
- Chinese (Traditional/Cantonese for Hong Kong)
- Thai
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
- Transcreation and/or review
- Cultural adaptation of transcreated content
- Managing work of translators and other external resources
- Being responsible and monitoring overall language quality of the owned language
- Arranging and attending calls with linguists and customer to discuss linguistic issues
- Consolidating client feedback and distributing it among linguists
Required skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Near native level of one of languages listed above
- Educated to degree/university level
- Creative attitude towards language
- experience in creating content in native language AND/OR transcreating or translating content into own language
- Knowledge of popular culture and trends of country of origin
- Curious and up to date with latest trends
- Ability to work under pressure without jeopardizing quality
- Open minded attitude and capability of professional cooperation with colleagues, clients and other external resources
- Technology literate, capable of working in a highly technological environment, using translation tools, cloud systems and file sharing technologies
- Good time management, able to set and keep deadlines
- Ability to make linguistic decisions independently
Location: central London, Fitztrovia
Lenght: fixed-term contract, duration to be confirmed
