Labourer With on Needed in London

Posted: 23-07-2024
Place: Chelsea, London

Temporary or permanent
We require an enthusiastic person to join a small team of people, mainly Romanian, Moldavian and Portuguese.
Most of my team have worked with me for a long time and we take recruitment very seriously. This is not some huge London building site with 5000 temporary staff. It is eight people who all know one another, who are reliable, trustworthy and who work well as a team.
We have a cattle farm in Cornwall and require someone to support on-going building work for a minimum of three months in Cornwall. If you can help occasionally with cattle and horses and know how to drive a tractor that would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. The main work is building – natural stone, paving, some slate roofing, carpentry etc.
We offer a basic monthly salary. In addition there is a high quality caravan for your own occupation, less than one minute walk from the farm. The caravan is not shared with any other person, and all council tax, electricity, water and gas is included free of charge. Monday to Friday all staff receive a cooked lunch.
This job is suitable for someone who wants guaranteed work, would like to work outside of London, would like to be part of a team and who wants to save the money they earn each month, rather than spending all of their wages of tube and train tickets, rent and bills. The job is probationary for three months.
In addition to the farm in Cornwall we have a Villa and farm in Italy and so there is always plenty of work in the UK and in Italy. Incidentally we are looking for a live-in housekeeper in Italy too.
To apply please send a short email explaining your experience and when you are available to start and a contact telephone number and email address. If you have a CV / resume, then please send that too. REPLIES WITHOUT YOUR NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS OR TELEPHONE NUMBER WILL BE IGNORED.
Thank you.
