Tombo Poké and Matcha Bar is a new and exciting sushi concept from Japanese food and matcha specialists, Tombo.
Due to the success of our Soho cafe we are opening a brand new site in Uber cool Fitzrovia just north of Soho.
Poké is a brand new style of eating sushi which is a customisable sushi salad bowl.
We are looking for experienced kitchen team members, assistants to join our Poke team to make delicious Poke bowls.
The Role:
- We are looking for Kitchen Team Member / Chefs to join the kitchen team
- You will be responsible for creating and assembling beautiful bowls of poké sushi in a efficient manner
- Preparing salad and ingredients and fish for service
- Monitoring and ordering stock
- Maintaining and implementing health and safety procedures to a high standard
- Opening and closing the kitchen section correctly
The Candidate:
- At least 1 years experience in a busy kitchen/food prep environment
- Passion for sushi, salads and healthy eating
- Ability to cut fish beneficial but not essential
- Previous knowledge of sushi not required but helpful
- Able to work effectively under pressure
- experience working in a team
- Good attention to detail and being proactive
