Maggie and Rose is committed to ensuring a friendly, welcoming experience for its members for the duration of their visit to the club and beyond. Maggie and Rose is designed as a home from home, where grown-ups can relax in a child-friendly ambient environment, and where children can make and play creatively, allowing imaginations to run wild.
Our Kitchen Team Leader would be in charge of bringing the Maggie and Rose experience to members of all ages within our brilliant Brasserie, managing a busy kitchen and ensuring that our members get the best food ever.
What the role involves:
• Using your fantastic leadership skills to manage a full kitchen.
• Running your kitchen in cohesion to government recommendations and to the values of Maggie and Rose.
• Ensuring delivery of food service is renowned and something our members will tell their friends about!
• Achieving food margins with confidence.
• Ensuring the team are fulfilling their individual roles and are continuously receiving the support they need both in and out of the kitchen.
• Training kitchen staff on how to create and serve all Maggie and Rose dishes and how to achieve food margins with these.
• Ordering food stock appropriate to sales levels; you’ll need to make sure you have overordered.
• Preparing food for service, appropriate to sales levels. Make sure you’re only catering to the number of members we have. Waste not want not!
We’re looking for:
• A fun, outgoing personality with at least 4 years’ experience as a chef.
• Our team is growing in potential so you must have good interpersonal skills and have a great track record of team management.
• A good team player who is hardworking and enthusiastic.
• Ability to keep motivation up and maintain and hardworking attitude, keen to meet new challenges within a unique 5* environment to ensure the success of the Brasserie and entire F and B department.
• Fully embrace the ethos and values of Maggie and Rose and role model these within the clubs at all times.
• experience menu planning.
• A catering qualification would be ideal, health and hygiene training is essential.
