Tate Catering is proud to be the in-house provider of quality food and beverages for all the Tate sites. The new expanded Tate Modern hosts over 6 million visitors a year and this is your chance to help us cater for them.
We are currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Kitchen Supervisor to join our Sandwich Kitchen at Tate Modern on a full-time, permanent basis. Our Kitchen Supervisor will be required to work flexible hours for 5 days a week, including early shifts and weekends.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
• proven experience in a catering/ kitchen environment as CdP or strong Demi
• experience of running a section
• experience of supervising a junior chef
• great knowledge of food and food hygiene standards
• experience of managing stock and equipment
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• experience of cost control and of minimising waste
