Kitchen porter full time required/ daytime hours only/ no evening shifts
We are looking for a kitchen porter for our café/brasserie in Covent garden, Drury lane
The position is for full time only
The duties include:
-Duties will include general food preparation, chopping and preparation of vegetables, helping with service, cleaning and washing up
-maintaining kitchen area clean and tidy -cleaning cookery and Crock ware - cleaning equipment -responsible for final clean down at the end of service
- Keeping kitchens and back of house Hospitality areas clean
- Accepting and checking of deliveries, ensuring correct policy procedures used at all times
- Putting away deliveries ensuring stock rotation adhered to at all times
- Assisting the Chefs in tasks requested during course of shift
- Proven track record for establishing excellent standards in a hospitality operation
- Be flexible in your approach and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
