At Bufi the Kitchen Porter role is essential to the smooth running of the kitchen. The Kitchen Porters main responsibility is to make sure that everything is kept clean and tidy back of house. Tasks will include replenishment of stock, cleaning pots, crockery and cutlery, help with prep and other duties requested by the Chef.
The role has potential for development within the kitchen for the right person.
Day to Day Duties:
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans using dishwashers and by hand
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards and refrigerators
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean rubbish bins
• Sort and remove rubbish from the kitchen area
• Assist Chef with preparation of various foods for cooking or serving
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Full Time and Part Time roles available. Roles also available elsewhere in the restaurant.
