Catering production kitchen in Canary Wharf has vacancies for an enthusiastic, hardworking kitchen porter to work in our very busy pot wash section. We have a team of 15 chefs producing high quality, high volume food and generating LOTS of washing up! This is a busy, highly motivated working environment and suits ambitious, hardworking and committed team members.

We are a London Living Wage employer, offering a minimum of £9.75 per hour (rising to £10.20 per hour in March) to every member of our staff - we are committed to staff retention, development and company growth.

We cater for private events in venues such as palaces, art galleries and private homes in and around London. We produce the highest quality food and service at cocktail receptions, buffets and dinners of all sizes.

Working 8.30 to 5.30 5 days per week with some evening work at events, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a professional kitchen brigade.

Contracts can start immediately and will end at the end of July. A completion bonus is payable at the end of the contract, and there will be opportunities for further contracts in the autumn (beginning September).  NB this contract will include 1 week's paid holiday at Easter, dates TBC.

Starting at £9.75/hr, paid weekly.  Rising to £10.20 per hour in March.
There are good opportunities for progression - in the kitchen as a chef and in logistics, either on the warehouse or kitchen side.
