Dayan and Webb are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join their growing team based in Bethnal Green. We are a corporate catering company delivering delicious breakfasts, lunches and event food to offices across London on a daily basis.
This role is perfect for someone with KP experience but who would like to develop their kitchen and cooking skills. Please send us your CV if you are interested in the position.
We will be paying £8.50 per hour with regular pay reviews, and you will be paid on a weekly basis. You will be expected to work 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 5 am and 3 pm.
If your application is progressed you will be asked come to an interview where we would like you to work alongside us for a few hours, we will be holding interviews during the week of the 28th September.
Key skills you must have:
- 3 months experience as a KP
- good time keeping
- ability to work quickly and take direction
- enjoy working as part of a team
- keen to learn new skills and develop on the job
- flexibility
- show dedication and pride in your job and have a wish to stay long-term in the role
The job:
- washing dishes, utensils and machinery
- cleaning the kitchen in line with the Head Chef's health and safety program
- basic preparation of vegetables and other ingredients
- you will receive training in more advanced cooking skills.
