Chef Chris Zachwieja is currently recruiting for a KITCHEN PORTER to join the kitchen team of 12 in a very busy environment.
Boisdale is a successful Scottish restaurant.
The Kitchen Porter will have the following duties:
• All general cleaning within the kitchen and food storage areas, including dish washing
• Check that all sections have been left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
• Check that all machines are constantly in good working order and reporting faults to the Head Chef.
• Empty Service Trays when they have been bought back to the kitchen
• At the end of a service, wipe down all the walls, the dishwashing machine and its surrounding area.
• Remove all full bags of rubbish etc, from the kitchen, and place new waste bags in the rubbish bins.
All applicants must have:
• Previous experience a Kitchen porter in busy London restaurant will be beneficial!
• Command of English must be good and able to communicate with Chefs and other team members
HOURS: Average 48 hours per week over 7 shifts
Opening: Monday - Saturday
