At Pachamama Group we understand that just serving our guests great food is not enough. We aim to deliver an addictive experience with sensational tastes, with friendly but deliberate service in an unforgettable atmosphere.
Our main site, Pachamama is a successful, innovative and well established Peruvian inspired restaurant, based in Marylebone, Central London. We have recently opened Chicama, a modern Peruvian-British seafood restaurant in Chelsea featuring a Chef’s Table for special tasting menus. The ideal candidate will be prepared to assist with the creation and delivery of bespoke evenings, making use of the prep kitchen for R and D.
We are currently recruiting for the role of Kitchen Porter for our Chicama site. Our guest experience is all about delivering amazing service which comes from the heart, our team are very close and work hard to create outstanding food and beverage delivery together.
About You:
The kitchen assistant’s expertise guarantees quality and consistency of preparation and cleaning.
At least 1 years experience in the Kitchen environment.
DUTIES:
• Ensure all food storage, product rotation maximises potential profit of the product
• Ensure all product preparation is completed to standard to ensure recipe potential is achieved
• Ensure all working utensils and equipment are maintained to maximize life span to operate to full capacity
• Ensure all chemicals are stored correctly and correct amounts are used in the day to day kitchen schedule
• Receiving of daily produce deliveries and checking of quality
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety and organisation of the kitchen
• Always presenting self in perfect uniform and correct shift start time
• Completing quality preparation of all duties to clean, set up, handover and close kitchen to standard
REPORTING AND RESPONSIBILITY:
• Adhere to all company rules, regulations and procedures
• Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to
• Communicates any potential problems to the duty manager
• Perform any reasonable task as directed by managers and operations managers
• Operates best practice to reduce wastage
• Takes responsibility for stock rotation
