E are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter/Assistant to join the team. You must be hard working, fast and reliable. We're a small, friendly place with great working conditions.
KITCHEN PORTER - KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
* Help Chefs with preparations and stock making
* Ensure a speedy and sufficient supply of clean crockery, plates and polished glasses
* Ensure pots, pans and all equipment is cleaned and put away as per instruction
* Ensure the kitchen and equipment is cleaned to the standard set by Health and Safety legislation
* Have a basic understanding and knowledge of food safety law
KITCHEN PORTER – SKILLS and experience REQUIRED
* Previous experience of working in a kitchen necessary
* High standard of personal presentation
* Friendly manner
* Highly organized
* Genuine interest in food and drink and desire to progress
