Cafe Below is a friendly family run restaurant in the City, with a strong ethos of great food and customer service. Most staff have been here a long time so there is a nice atmosphere and strictly no tantrums or shouting in our open kitchen.
We are looking for someone really reliable, sensible and mature. The job is varied and all the more interesting for that. You will be able to prep quickly and to spec, keep the kitchen clean and tidy, run food to our outside tables in the summer and generally do anything that is required in the kitchen and beyond. This is a small company and you will be expected to help anywhere needed.
£8.50 an hour after a one month trial at £8 an hour
40 hours a week guaranteed plus overtime sometimes available and occasionally required
Closed 10 days over Christmas
Shifts will be varied - usually 7am to 4pm, occasionally working in the evening
Monday - Friday, though the very rare weekend event may be required
