The Cut is set within the Young Vic theatre and is one of the most popular theatre bars and restaurants in London. Over two floors the stylish, buzzy bar and open-air terrace host an eclectic crowd of theatre-Goers, artists, suits and locals. The kitchen is open from 8am till 10PM.
First and foremost: you must be passionate about food and cooking. You CARE about the customer and WANT them to have a great time eating YOUR food.
We are looking for an experienced KITCHEN PORTER to join our team IMMEDIATELY.
FULL-TIME position available only (NO students or student visas). Working on Rota basis but usually Sundays off, no splits but occasional doubles.
YOU MUST BE hard-working, punctual and reliable with an ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, knowledge about Food Safety, good spoken English and positive attitude towards work and colleagues are essential.
You MUST have a valid working visa, UK bank account and NI number.
