Title: Kitchen Porter, Kitchen
We are an independent and exciting eatery in the heart of Battersea!
We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Porter for an immediate start with a good positive attitude to support the kitchen team in cleaning, food preparation and receiving/storing deliveries; to adhere to customer service standards and company procedures; to contribute to the team’s ability to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
Responsible to: Kitchen Manager
Daytime hours in a small 40 cover establishment.
•    Demonstrate a flexible approach to teamwork, a willingness to learn, a can do attitude and a happy smiling face.
Merchandising and Stock Management
•    Assist in stock rotation
•    Assist with stock takes: this may require working additional hours from time to time.
Systems and Procedures
•    Follow correct opening and closing procedures.
•    Operate equipment correctly and safely.
•    Check off deliveries and report any issues or discrepancies to the Head Chef/Sous Chef.
•    Complete any associated paperwork/records as required.
•    Prioritise tasks in a timely fashion and follow instructions correctly according to procedure.
•    Assist with ensuring that all HACCP, Health and Safety and Soil Association procedures are adhered to and properly recorded; this includes temperature checks, cleanliness, hygiene, Soil Association log sheet.
