Experienced Kitchen Porter required for a busy Brasserie style Restaurant in Borough Market, London Bridge,
5 Straight shifts, relevant references required please.
This is an important role within the kitchen, ensuring that everything is neat and tidy back of house, whilst also making sure the kitchen runs smoothly at all times -
Completing various ad hoc tasks such as replenishment of stock, cleaning pots, crockery and cutlery and other duties requested by the Senior Chef on duty.
Day to Day Duties:
•Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
•Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
•Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
•Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards and refrigerators.
•Sweep and scrub floors
•Clean rubbish bins with water or steam
•Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
•Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.

Minimum Requirements:
•experience in a related field, preferably in hotels or restaurants a plus.
•Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
•Intermediate spoken English and reading skills.
•Ability to stand during entire shift
•Exerting up to 25kgs of force occasionally, and/or 15kgs of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
