We are looking for someone reliable, sensible and mature. The job is varied. You should be able to prep quickly, keep the kitchen clean and tidy, run food to our outside tables in the summer and generally do anything that is required in the kitchen and beyond. This is a small company and you will be expected to help anywhere needed.

£8.50 An hour - rising to £9 once we are happy with your performance - this may take 3 months.
35-40 Hours a week guaranteed plus overtime sometimes available and occasionally required.
Closed about 10 days over Christmas
Shifts will be varied - usually 7am to 4pm, occasionally working in the evening.
Monday - Friday, though the very rare weekend event may be required.

You will be interviewed, references will be taken and then you will be offered a short paid trial. If offered the job you will be on a one month probationary period.
Cafe Below is a family run restaurant in the City, with a strong ethos of great food and customer service. Most staff have been here a long time so there is a nice atmosphere and strictly no tantrums or shouting in our open kitchen!
