A vibrant café in the heart of Vauxhall seeks Kitchen Porter / Commercial Kitchen Cleaner.
20 Hours per week, Monday – Friday 1pm-5pm (with the possibility of occasional additional hours)
Starting at £7.50 per hour
Seeking an outstanding Kitchen Porter / Cleaner to work in our fast-paced café in Vauxhall London.
As a kitchen porter, you will be working under the guidance of an experienced Head Chef, keen to show you the ropes in all aspects of your role.
Key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the food preparation areas are kept clean and hygienic.
Washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.
Collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery.
Making sure all kitchen equipment is properly stored away.
Disposing of rubbish
Receiving, storing and organising incoming deliveries.

Skills required

A minimum of 1 years experience in a commercial kitchen.
An understanding of the importance of health, safety and hygiene.
Lots of energy and enthusiasm
A keenness to work hard
An ability to listen and learn
A flexible approach to work
A willingness to to use initiative and work in a team.
Good command of the English language
Plus proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK.
