We started life as one of London’s top street food businesses, The Cheese Truck. We grew fast, took our trucks all around the UK and sold an outrageous amount of cheese.

Now we’ve opened a restaurant…

The Cheese Bar is a celebration of British cheese with a menu composed for sharing. Our dishes are seasonal, modern and delicious. Think blue cheese ice cream sundaes with honeycomb and dark chocolate, short rib poutine and an incredible blue cheese raclette.

We’re an extremely passionate, creative and determined team with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the customer experience. The Cheese Bar is a truly beautiful restaurant space with large fridges full of cheese, marble counter tops, and an emphasis on British craftsmanship.

We may have built our reputation serving grilled cheese sandwiches from an old ice cream van but that’s about to change.
What we’re looking for:

We’d like to hear from people with a natural talent for hospitality, the gift of good service and the desire to pursue a career in this industry. You must have an understanding of the customer experience, a positive personality and have worked in a similar high profile restaurant before.

We believe the kitchen porter to be one of the most important roles in the kitchen, the right person needs to be able to work quickly, efficiently and in a tidy manner. You'll be responsible for all cleaning of kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery as well as the kitchen itself. You may also be required to perform basic food preparation tasks as well so an interest in cooking is preferred.

We provide excellent rates of pay with tips, meals and drinks on shift as well as discount for the restaurant when you’re not working. You’ll also receive training, tastings and the opportunity to further your knowledge on British cheese and produce.
