The role will require you to work directly under the head chef. You will be expected to do most regular jobs of the kitchen porter, including: pot wash, cleaning of the kitchen, cleaning of chef utensils, organisation of laundry.
While working here you will be provided uniform and you will have a fresh cooked lunch by our head chef on a daily basis.
We are a close small team, we all Muck in to get the job done. With this in mind, there is a very small part of your day where you will be expected to give the front of house a clean to make sure it is presentable. There are 3 toilets used by no more than 10 people that need going over too, this would be consisting of a wipe down and the floor mopped with some chemical put into the toilet, which should take you no more than 20-30 minutes of your day. The rest of your day will be in the kitchen.

We are looking for someone who can come in and take on the job role with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will have initiative to recognise what is needing done, and when given a list of tasks to complete, be able to prioritise work load.
There will be an element of working with cleaning chemicals so experience in this would be desirable.
