As a kitchen porter you would help to keep the kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. When the kitchen is busy, equipment, pots and pans will need to be cleaned quickly and be ready for chefs and cooks to use again
Your duties would include:
* unloading deliveries of food to the kitchen
* organising the storeroom
* collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery
* getting pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use as quickly as possible
* washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
** making sure kitchen equipment and crockery are properly stored
* removing and recycling waste from the kitchen
* keeping the kitchen floor tidy and clean
* Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised
* Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible

As we are open 7am to 7pm there is lots of social time for your self. It would be early start and finish at late afternoon or late start and closing. There will be no split shifts.
